Book Bloger Hop

 Question of the Week:

Would you stop reading a book if an element of the plot strongly clashed with your personal beliefs, or would you continue reading until you finished finished the book?

                                  My Answer:

Yes I would stop reading the book if it clashes between my personal beliefs. I would also still leave a review of the book and probably write to the author about it. So far I haven't had that problem yet and hopefully I won't have to but if It happens I promise not to be mean about it.

What about you would you stop reading a book if it clashes with your personal beliefs?

  1. Welcome to the Book Blogger Hop.

Have fun, and I hope you can join us every week.

I wrote to two authors about their books. I just couldn't continue reading them. They were debasing women.

    I didn't continue or write a review.

    Have a great weekend.

    Happy Hopping!!

  2. I would likely keep reading too. It's rare I give up on a book because it goes against something I believe. I'm more likely to give up because I'm bored with a book. I like to read books outside my comfort zone now and then though--so it's not something I mind.

Thanks for sharing! I hope you have a great week!

The Simple Women's Daybook

For Today Monday April 3,2017

Looking out my window... It's cloudy and looks like it could rain somete soon.

I am thinking... That I need to make a list of things I need to pack for our week vacation.

I am thankful...  For warmer weather and of course spring.

I am wearing...  A flower t-shirt and Jeans.
I am creating... Nothing at the moment. Don't have time to make anything at the moment. Maybe once Emily gets to be a little older I can start making things again.

I am watching...  My son doing the splits and My daughter rolling over on her tummy. Never a full moment I'm this house.

I am reading...

A Princess Next Door. It's good almost done. And can't wait to read book 2 in the series.

I am hoping... That my daughter's teeth will come in soon. She is cutting a few teeth and poor baby is fussy.

I am learning...  Which foods Emily likes to eat and what she doesn't when she eats her solids. Love the cute faces she makes.

In the kitchen... Monday: Burritos

Secrets of the Amish Diary Blogging through the alphabet

Each day through the month of April I will be sharing a book that I would like to read this year on the letter of the day while blogging through the alphabet. If you know a book that starts with the letter of the day comment below and let me know. I love hearing about new books.

Day 18: Secrets of the Amish Diary

The people of Pleasant Creek are delighted to welcome Liz Eckardt to their picturesque country town as she reopens the Olde Mansion Inn bed and breakfast. But a new start and a simpler life aren’t the only reasons Liz is setting down roots in the heart of Indiana’s Amish community. She is quietly embarking on a quest to find answers about her late mother’s secret life growing up Amish.
